DNA profiles, STRs, and markers for evidenced potato and grape applications
The current SYNTOL crop-genetics portfolio covers potato and grape DNA passporting together with detection of potato resistance-gene markers. The main analytical sequence is multiplex PCR for STR or other markers followed by capillary electrophoresis.
This page is not a generic genomics page for all crops. It helps laboratories select an evidenced potato or grape solution while keeping genetic profile/marker results separate from phytosanitary diagnostics and from stronger phenotype conclusions.
Laboratory tasks
- obtain a 12-STR potato DNA profile for passporting;
- obtain a 9-STR grape DNA profile;
- detect potato resistance-gene markers with PH-201;
- select a PCR → capillary electrophoresis → fragment-analysis route;
- open current documentation for a specific product;
- select Nanofor 05 or another documented CE platform;
