Plant diagnostics and genetics
Two questions, two analytical approaches
This section provides two clear entry points: plant-pathogen detection and crop genetic analysis. Plant-health testing uses nucleic-acid extraction with qPCR/RT-qPCR; genetic identification and marker analysis use multiplex PCR, STR markers, and capillary electrophoresis.
For pathogen detection, choose phytosanitary molecular diagnostics. For a genetic profile, variety identification, or crop-marker analysis, choose plant genetic analysis. These tasks are presented separately and use different product groups.

Plant-pathogen diagnostics uses the Phytoscreen portfolio. Crop genetics uses GeneExpert Potato, GeneExpert Grape, and PH-201. Nanofor 05 is used as the capillary-electrophoresis platform for documented applications.

Presence of a genetic marker does not guarantee resistance magnitude, yield, or breeding value. A genetic profile is not automatic legal certification of a variety.
