SYNTOL molecular products for infectious-disease applications are grouped into stable areas: tuberculosis and mycobacteria, specific high-consequence/natural-focal infections, and respiratory infections. Detailed methods and products are presented within each area.
This section helps users move quickly to the relevant problem area without listing every pathogen and method in one place. Each area presents the appropriate kits, sample-preparation steps, equipment, and documentation.
Three principal areas
This section brings together Tuberculosis and Mycobacteria, High-Consequence and Natural-Focal Infections, and Respiratory Infections. Each area has its own evidenced tasks and products.
Tuberculosis and mycobacteria
the Amplitub system for specimen preparation, DNA extraction, and real-time PCR addressing MTBC, resistance-associated markers, and NTM;
High-consequence and natural-focal infections
target-specific OM-Screen assays for specific pathogens;
Respiratory infections
products for SARS-CoV-2 and combined SARS-CoV-2/Influenza A/B detection within the evidenced portfolio.
Methods shared across multiple areas include nucleic-acid extraction, qPCR, and RT-qPCR. Isothermal amplification and sequencing are relevant only to specific applications.
Key product groups are Amplitub, OM-Screen, and SARS-CoV-2/Influenza A/B solutions. LAMP and Sanger sequencing are additional methods only in the areas where they are supported by the relevant products.
